Mrs. Lillian Lucille Combs, age 84, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024.

 

Lillian was born Saturday, July 29, 1939, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late John Stanley Sellers, Jr and Ona Lorene Webb. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus C. Combs; sisters-in-law, Arleen Sellers and George Ann Mercer. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Lillian loved bible school camps, vacation bible schools, Girl Scouts, going on mission trips and she enjoyed going to the beach.

 

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Hannah L. Combs; Deborah L. Combs; Rachel L. Combs; brothers and sisters-in-law, John S. Sellers III; Thomas W. Sellers (Ava), James E. Sellers (Valerie); sister and brother-in-law, Margaret S. Brinson (Richard E.); several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Combs will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chris Magnus officiating. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, April 9, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home.
