Mr. William Paul Matejowsky, Jr., age 66, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024.

 

Billy was born Thursday, November 7, 1957, in Lake Charles, Louisianna to the late William Paul Matejowsky, Sr. and Pearl Opal Hoover Matejowsky. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Texas. Billy enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved animals. Billy had four Chows: Rocky, Ava Grace, Heidi, and Hannah. He loved them all but took a picture of Rocky with him everywhere he went.

 

Billy is survived by his son, Houston Matejowsky, and his children, Waylon, Eli, Jack, and Logan; his son, Austin Matejowsky and his wife, Neilie, and their children, Pepper and Arlo; sisters and brother-in-law, Victoria Gladden, Iolet Turner, Trudy and Frank Hinkley.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Matejowsky will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 2:00 P.M, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Cornort officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour before the service at the funeral home.
